Is the Epson EcoTank ET-2850 better than the Canon MegaTank G3270?

For most people, the Epson EcoTank ET-2850 is the better choice primarily because it supports automatic two-sided (duplex) printing.

Both printers are excellent entry-level "supertank" models that will save you a massive amount of money on ink compared to traditional cartridge printers. They both offer Wi-Fi, flatbed scanners, and incredible page yields (often thousands of pages per bottle).

However, the Canon MegaTank G3270 only supports manual two-sided printing, meaning you have to physically take the paper out and feed it back into the machine to print on the back. If you print a lot of documents for school or a home office, the Epson's automatic two-sided printing makes it worth the slightly higher price tag.

If you almost exclusively print single-sided documents or borderless photos and want to save a little money upfront, the Canon G3270 is a strong, budget-friendly alternative.
