• Privacy: Like many large marketplaces, Temu may collect a lot of user data. The company has also faced scrutiny from security experts and regulators over privacy concerns, so if privacy matters to you, review the app permissions and privacy policy before installing or signing in.

Bottom line: Temu is generally safe enough for low-risk, inexpensive purchases if you use caution and strong payment protection, but it is not the best place to buy anything important, expensive, or safety-sensitive.
