If prices are similar, I’d lean toward the Roborock Saros 10R for most buyers. The Dreame X40 Ultra can still be the better buy if it is meaningfully cheaper, if you already prefer Dreame’s app/dock ecosystem, or if a specific local bundle includes accessories or warranty coverage that makes it better value.

I would not make the decision solely on suction numbers, though: real-world cleaning, mopping, obstacle avoidance, noise, hair handling, and reliability can vary by home layout, floor type, rugs, pets, and firmware. Check current pricing, return policy, and recent hands-on reviews for your region before buying.
