For a three-floor house, I’d usually pick the TP-Link Deco XE75, especially if you’re buying a 3-pack and can place the units well across the floors. It’s a Wi‑Fi 6E tri-band system, so it has more wireless capacity than the Eero 6+, and it supports 6 GHz for compatible devices and/or mesh backhaul.

That said, 6 GHz is not magic: it is faster at short range but generally penetrates floors and walls worse than 2.4/5 GHz. So the XE75 is the stronger choice when the nodes can get a decent signal to each other, or when you can use Ethernet backhaul. If your house is wired for Ethernet, either system can perform much better, and the difference between them may matter less.

The Eero 6+ is still a good option if you prioritize a very simple app, easy setup, and a lower-cost Wi‑Fi 6 system. But it is dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 and does not have a 6 GHz band, so for an unwired three-floor home, the Deco XE75 is generally the safer performance-oriented choice.

Practical recommendation: get the Deco XE75 3-pack if coverage and speed across all three floors are your priority. Start with one unit near the modem/router and place the others on adjacent floors where they still get a strong signal—not necessarily directly at the farthest corners. If you want the easiest setup and don’t need maximum throughput, the Eero 6+ is fine.
