Should I buy a used GoPro Hero 12 or DJI Osmo Action 4?

Pick the GoPro Hero 12 if you specifically want GoPro’s ecosystem and its extra framing flexibility for editing into different aspect ratios.

• DJI Osmo Action 4: better if you want a very strong all-around action camera with a larger sensor, easier everyday handling, and a quick-release mounting system.

For a used unit, condition matters a lot: check the battery door, lens, seals, buttons, and whether it comes with the mounts/accessories you’ll actually use. A well-kept used camera is usually the better buy than the one with slightly better specs on paper.
