Most often, a soundbar has no sound because the TV is sending audio to the wrong place, the soundbar is on the wrong input, or there’s a bad cable/setting.
Try these in order:
- Check the soundbar input: Make sure it matches your connection, like HDMI ARC/eARC, Optical, Bluetooth, or AUX.
- Check TV audio output: In the TV sound settings, switch output from internal speakers to the soundbar connection.
- Inspect cables and ports: Use the correct ARC/eARC or optical port, and make sure everything is fully plugged in.
- Unmute and raise volume: Check both the TV and soundbar volume.
- Power-cycle devices: Unplug the TV, soundbar, and streaming box for about 2 minutes, then reconnect.
- Try PCM or Stereo: If some apps work and others don’t, change the TV’s digital audio format from Auto/Bitstream to PCM or Stereo.
If it still has no sound, the issue is likely the cable, port, TV setting, or the soundbar itself.
