Will Siri become an AI agent in IOS 27?

Probably not something you can say with confidence yet.

Apple has already started upgrading Siri with Apple Intelligence, adding more AI-like capabilities such as better language understanding, on-screen awareness, personal context, and some cross-app actions. That means Siri is moving in an agent-like direction.

But Apple has not officially said that Siri will become a full AI agent in iOS 27, and it would be speculation to claim that it definitely will. If Apple keeps its usual annual release cadence, iOS 27 would be several years away, so a lot can change before then.

So the fair answer is: Siri may become more agentic by iOS 27, but whether it will be a true autonomous, proactive AI agent is unknown until Apple announces it.
